Hi,
I was a postoc in a biomedical field in an university and later became a principal investigator of a NIH grant. I am on a J1 visa. Although I am a PI of a NIH grant, I receive the NIH funding through my university. Does it mean I receive government financing indirectly or directly? Does this make me subject to the 2 year home role if I am a PI of a NIH grant after finishing a postdoc?
