GC-Entered in US after 11 months

It is a one-way ticket, but not back to my city, to Las Vegas instead. I also have another one-way ticket returning to Toronto, Canada.

When they swipe the Green Card, are all the past info on record? Or do they just look and asks questions?

I don't travel much so this is very new to me.

Not sure what information they have. I assume all information. I only ask because my wife is a GC holder and is returning to the US with me (a US citizen) afetr being out of the country 9 months. I have read that returning to the US on a round trip ticket is not good but one ways are more money.

entered today after 11 months out of US.I have greencard.
No question asked by immigration officer.Justs wipe my greencard and stamped on passport.Entered from JFK airport, Newyork.
