When is the FP actually processed?

Hi

I am planning to apply for Citizenship. I am applying after completion
of 4years 9 months with GC. My question
is, does USCIS starts processing for FP immediately after receiving my
application or waits for 5 years to be complete as GC holder before it issues FP notice? One of my friend who applied on 4years 9 months, has not received FP notice, even though it is already 45 days.

I applied after 4 yrs 9 months also. I received the receipt in 10 days and the FP appointment the following week dated for next week. When I go for FP, I would have only completed 4 yrs 10 months.
