Dependent I-20 contains minor spell error in my name, should we apply for visa ?

I have received my wife's I20, which I'll use to apply for her F2.

My question is my I20 has all correct details, but my wife's I20 contains a minor spell error in my middle name.

Should I apply for both our visas or get a new I20 for her?

If I apply for both of our visas now together what are the implications ?

request new I-20 for your wife

I'd suggest you request a new I-20 for your wife , especially if her name on passport and her I-20 isn't match. Usually the school would issue another I-20 without collecting for another application fee. but you probably have to pay for international or express mailing fee for your wife new original I-20.
