F1 visa and California drivers LICENCE

Can anyone inform me whether F1 visa (international student) holder can get Drivers LICENCE in California?
Any documents other than I20 and passport required?

Yes of course, if you have at least 6 months left on your visa I believe.
You will need a social security number, phone bill as a proof of address, your passport for a proof of ID and you'll need a proof of signature.
You need to check with the DMV to find out what you need, they'll tell you. Or ask your DSO.
