Education options on a conditional green card

I am married to a green card holder. My priority date is April 2015. I want to know what do I need to know and to do to study in the US after I go there on a conditional green card. I am currently in college in India but I am going to drop out soon. So basically, I have completed my 12th grade in India and would like to know my options about studying in the US. Thanks!

When you get your green card, you can study in US colleges in parity with US persons.
You will not sign up as a international student. You will be eligible for lower in-state resident tuition.

Which entrance exams am I required to give? For eg. SAT's or TOEFL or IELTS or all of them? Thanks.
