  • Company location change after Visa approval but before stamping

    Hello -
I have my h1b Visa approved and is expiring in few months.
Now... I have not traveled to India since then but in my current visit, I need to get it stamped.
While preparing for the interview, I just realized that at the time of filling of this Visa's petition (and hence its approval), my company was at location A.
Few months after the approval.. my company moved to another City within the same county and same state... (hence my work location technically changed)
I am realizing this now just before the stamping interview and wondering if this is a matter of concern?

    Any thoughts?

but.... fyi... I do have my next H1b Visa extension approval in hand... and that was indeed filed from the new location B.

    Thanks

    Metropolitan Statistical Area

K I got a reply from our company folks....
They said that I should be good because both company locations lie in the same Metropolitan Statistical area.
Hopefully this thread helps someone in future....
    Thanks

      Hi,
I have almost same situation. Is you stamping
done? What did VO asked about the new location?

Hey - The interview went fine.
VO did not ask anything about location change.

Also - as I mentioned that I did talk to my Company's HR / lawyers before the interview.
So... I will suggest you sending an email to your company HR regardless to get clarification on MSA, and if your company locations fall under same MSA.

        Good luck!!
        Thanks
