  • B1/B2 visa cancelled under section 212 (a) (7) (A) (i) (I) at the port

My entry had been denied at the port on July, 25th 2014 and my B1/B2 visa also had been canceled under section 212 (a) (7) (A) (i) (I). I made a mistake that i mentioned the wrong address in the CBP form 6059B that i am going to california but i had the ticket for Dallas, Texas. When the immigration officer asked me about this thing then i said, first i will go to see my friend in Dallas then from there i'll drive to california at my uncles' place with my friend only. I had already travel to US 3 times four years ago, they found that i stayed there before almost 6 months everytime in all my last three visits. They also found a resume in my bag that indicates that i worked in Texas, US before in my last visit but unfortunately that resume was just to show my company in India that i have US experience so that i can get hike in my salary but i actually never worked in US ever. Now i would like to know, is there still possibilities that i can get B1/B2 visa to visit US again because my whole family has visa except me or any other visa like H1B/Work Visa if any company sponsor me to work in US. This incident had happened one year ago.

maybe, if you can show strong ties to your residence.

it depends if you will be now found inadmissible for fraud.

      Intending Immigrant [INA § 212(a)(7)(A)(i)(I)] –

This is the most common ground of inadmissibility applied under INA § 212(a)(7). Any foreign national who seeks to enter the U.S. and remain here permanently, or who is suspected of seeking to enter the U.S. and remain here permanently, but who does not have the proper documents to demonstrate that s/he has authorization to do so, is inadmissible.

So you will have to prove that you didn't have any intention to remain in the USA and you didn't work in the USA either, in your previous visits.

How you would prove that is the task!

This is my opinion, not a legal advice.
