Hello,
My partner has recently received a job offer in the US so we are exploring different options with my work and without getting married and applying for a TD Visa (dependent). I just graduated with a 5 year teaching degree from a Canadian institution (preferably grade 1-4).
There are a few options for Visa types for experienced teachers that we have looked into:
H1B Visa: Requires long application time and cap.
J1 Visa: Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience or related professional experience.
TN Visa: Must be College or University teacher.
Looking at the options none of the above Visas would be suitable for out needs.
Any help or recommendations would be great.
