Working for US emmployer from India.

I live in India and work for a US employer as IT professional. I get paid through Paypal and recieve funds in my Local
bank account in Rupees.
I do get a notification from PAypal about the dollar amount that was deposited in it by my employer which gets converted to Rupees here.
Do I have to pay US tax on this income?
Also I heard that getting paid via PAYPAL under the 'Software Services export' category is tax exempt. Is that true ?

You are really earning in India, you don't have to pay any US income tax.

However, you have to pay Indian income tax.
