    Thanks for the reply .

Should the photocopies of the supporting /civil documents along with the Affidavit of support be notarized before mailing them to NVC ?

Nothing going to the NVC need by notarized.

Two passport-style photos of only the beneficiary go to the NVC.

Thanks a lot. One more query please.
I have an expired police certificate issued from country of nationality and I can't renew it because it is unsafe to go there and online service is not available.
However, I have got a recent police certificate from the place I am resided now for 4 years. Should I send the old certificate form my country with a letter of explanation or no need ?

              Send both, with an explanation.

                Thanx again and again.
After getting the Green card, can I apply for neutralization if I return to U.S for 20 days visit every 5 months throughout the three years as I am married to U.S. citizen ?

No, your math won't work for Naturalization eligibility. The "continuous eligibility" requirement is that your total time in the U.S. should be at least a full 18 months in the U.S., with no trips of 6 months or more.

                    Hi Mr Ray B,

I am petitioning both my parents at the same time from Malaysia. They have been to the US before and have overstayed. It has been 17 years since they moved back to Malaysia. I am currently filling out the form for DS 260 and the question about permanent addresses is a real pain. I know for a fact that my parents have moved around a lot in their lives and have lived in multiple places and countries. So my question is:

1.)Do they need to provide and address FOR EVERY place they lived in for more than 6 months? Whether that be within Malaysia or another country?
2.)Would I need to provide the address of where they stayed when they were in the US? How would I get a police clearance for that?
3.)If they have lived in, for example: "Taiwan", for a year but they never paid taxes there or registered as a permanent resident or anything. How can they get a police clearance for Taiwan if they have never technically on the record?
4.)Do you think finding a lawyer to help me with this case would be beneficial? I am already half way in the process and have all my other documents ready to go and all I need is to finish this DS 260 form.

Thank you guys so much in advance for your help and suggestions.

                    Sincerely,
                    Confused

I don't believe it makes any sense to hire an attorney, pay him a healthy retainer, just to do some clerical form completion like the DS-260. For starters, your parents have the information you need for the DS-260, just obtain specific addresses and dates for "principal" location they have had for six months or more since they turned age 16.
