Hello,
1) What is the best way for a Cuban citizen to enter the USA in order to qualify for the Cuban Adjustment Act? As a tourist who never goes back? I am trying to help someone who doesn't have any relatives or other ties to the United States.
2) During the 1 year and 1 day they have to stay in the United States before moving on to the Green Card, are they legally allowed to work? Or work illegally and (unlike in other cases) it won't be held against them?
3) Is this a fairly straightforward process? No lawyer needed/recommended?
