What are the steps to live in the US?
Hi,
I'm from Italy and I'd like to move to live in the US.
What are the steps to legally live in the US?
Do I have to find for a job thru internet in the US before I move to obain a VISA work permit? Is it a realistic chance? I think it's difficult for an US company to hire someone the lives in Europe without seeing him or her in person first.
Or do I have to live for 90 days with an ESTA permit, find a job that would prepare the work permit and then move out of the US (Canada?) and then just re-enter with the work permit and begin to work?
