Filing of H1 B after receiving approval

Hi,

I am IT Professional and i have visited the US a couple of times before on a business visa. I was looking to file my H1 B to work in the US but in the meanwhile i have recieved the approval for the I130 which was filed by my father who is a US citizen who filed for my green card under the family 3rd category.

How long does it normally take for the green card after the approval?
I wanted to know if i could still apply for an H1 B and allowed to work in the US?
Would i be allowed to travel to the US on any other visa such as B1 or tourist as situation demands?

Would appreciate any information on the above.

I have visited many websites but was unable to get a clear information on the situation i am in.

2. Yes.
3. Only if you already have B1/B2 visa. You can't get fresh one.
