Fiancee in Manila, Philippines. She needs to get her police clearance from Singapore where she lived and worked for several years. She has a contact to help her do the paperwork. The question is about obtaining the finger prints. We do not have the NVC letter yet (which is supposed to have the MNL case number), and no idea when. Hopefully yesterday!!! If she goes to the NBI to get the fingerprints to be sent to Singapore, will she need the letter we not have?
Can it be a screen shot of the message from the Visa Check website (https://ceac.state.g...ker/status.aspx), which states our case is already ready:
"Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section......."
We have the MNL number I got over the phone, and on that message from the link above.
She is getting different answers from people on what she needs to get the fingerprints and how to obtain then, and get them to Singapore for the police clearance which her friend there will be authorized to do the paperwork and send back to Manila. And she needs this for the interview.
