  • Retaining Conditional Green card After Divorce

    Hi Guys,

Need your help. I got married to a US citizen and it has been 9 months since I got my conditional green card. It expires in April 2017.
I know I can file to remove conditions 90 days before that , that is end of January 2017.

We are not currently not divorced but might get divorced soon. We do not get along at all, it is really sad. I fell in love and got married and things changed later for the worst.
    We do not have kids.
I am gathering documents to prove that it was a good faith marriage, like our common bank account details, car payments, loan payments, etc.

Is there any way I can remove my conditions before those 90 days, mostly not but still wanted to ask you?
I changed my visa from H1B to the conditional green card, which I now know was a mistake.

    Waiting for your replies.
The other option is to wait till Jan end next year somehow and still stay in this marriage. But both of us are unhappy and it is taking a toll.

    thanks in advance
