  • If an employer is sponsoring me to work in America with a L-2 visa...

Does that mean I can only work for that sponsoring employer during my time in the US, or would I be able to leave there and move to a different company? Trying to establish whether I'd be tied down for working only with one employer if I moved to the US.

    Thanks!

Does your spouse already have a L1 visa?

You need an EAD to work on an L2 visa. Once on EAD you are free to work for any employer, you would not be tied to one employer.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
