Hi,
Just this week, I submitted an i-130 from the country my wife and I live in. I was told it will take 30-90 days.
My wife has never been to the US, but as an up-and-coming entrepreneur and small business owner, she has been invited to be a speaker at a prestigious event at Berkley University. It is my understanding that if we have an i-130 in process, that she would be declined a visitors visa based on having shown intent to immigrate.
My question: which visa should we submit in order to get her to this event? Also, it would be optimal if she could say longer than the 3 days the event lasts.
Thanks!
