Can you help someone be illegal become legal by adoption a US citizen?

Hello,

Firstly i would like to thank everyone who reads this and is taking the time to give advice on how I could help this individual,

There is this lady who I wanna help, she has been a maternal figured for the past couple of years... I had my mother alive but she was a very sick lady ever since i can remember and I had to drop off school to help her pay bills and literally almost live on on my own. I came around this lady whom I wanna help about 7 years ago and I just feel if there was some sort of way I could help her become legal any advice it would be appreciated...

My mom recently passed away and I didn't finish her legal process as much as i would love for enjoy that at least if I can hep my other mother in any sort of way it can be a blessing for her.
