Hi All,
I am a UK citizen and currently in the process of applying for a J1 Training visa. I am doing this through a programme sponsor. They tell me that I need a letter from my ex-employers confirming my previous employment. However, despite a number of requests, I have had no response from my ex-employers.
The application form for the J1 Training visa application refers to 'documents'. Can I provide emails, bank statements and payslips to prove that I worked there during the relevant period? Would these suffice instead of a letter?
Essentially I'm asking, is a signed letter the only thing that can prove my employment in the eyes of the embassy or is there an alternative?
Thanks in advance
