L1b is under admin process, received 221g slip

Hi,

I have attended L1 B blanket visa interview last week, visa officer have collected my passport and other supporting documents and issued 221g blue slip, it indicates my application needs additional administrative processing. I came to know that I will be contacted for Additional details if required, but I didnt get any mail related to that.

Actually how many days this process will take? If I didnt get any mail, what should I do to know the status?

Also My company wants to file H1B in this April since there is no confirmation about my L1B visa. Is there any problem will rise if I Apply both?

It may take from few weeks to few months. I've heard it took 4 months for couple of applicants. You can give a call to the consulate's help desk number for more information regarding your application.

One employee can have N number of petitions from "different" employers, but not from same employer. So, lets have some other company file for your H1B.

Hi Ramesh.....I am sailing on the same boat from my visa interview yesterday. Did you get your visa approved? How long did it take for you?
