Hi all,
I am applying for a J-1 visa through a U.S.university. One of the questions that I have to answer is about my "Legal Permanent Residence Country". I am a Spanish citizen, but I have been studying in the Netherlands for the last 8 months, and therefore I am currently living in the Netherlands (and I can permanently keep living in the country, since I have a Schengen passport).
I will apply for my visa from the U.S. consulate in the Netherlands, and I will come back to the Netherlands after my stay at the U.S. Which country should I fill as my "Legal Permanent Residence Country": Spain or the Netherlands?
Thank you very much.
