  • I-140 in premium processing to get benifit of H4 EAD

    Hi,
I recently got my PERM approval
I have 2 1/2 years left on my H1B. Is it advisable to file it in premium processing or there are risks as time left on my H1B is more?
I want to do it in PP because this way my spouse will get H4 EAD and she can work. She is a qualified software engineer having more than 9 years of experiences in software field.

Please advice if any risk is involved in I-140 PP.

It's fine if you have 2.5 years in hand. Recently my friend applied for I-140 in normal processing and he got approval in 6.5 months. At the most it may take a year, which is still ok in your case.
But if your wife wants to work soon, go for PP. No risk in it.
