  • Applying for k1 visa, but not living in U.S. currently

    Hi,
I am a U.S. citizen living outside the U.S. for the past 5 years (due to my fathers medical complications and him not having a medical insurance to be treated in U.S.), about two and half years ago i visited U.S. for two months and came back. I am applying for k1 visa for my fiance from outside the U.S. and would like to know if it is ok to apply for k1 from outside the U.S. I do have a permanent address back in U.S. and already managed to get a job as a programmer and am on their payroll since march 2016 (as a contractor). I am also planning to go back to U.S. roughly 2-3 months before my fiance interview date to get ready for her arrival and hopefully for our life together in U.S.
    Questions:
    1) On the form G-325a what should i put in for the places i have lived for the past 5 years? should i mention i've been out of U.S.? is that gonna be a problem for us?
