Can project manager apply for l1b visa?

Hi,
i have to travel to my customer location in michigan. My role there would be a project manager and my company is asking me to file for L1 B visa.So my question is can managers travel on l1 B visa?? Has any one had similar experiences? I am confused.please help!

Well, yes a specialized knowledgeable manager can apply for L1B. However it will be better for you to get L1A visa for two reasons:

1. You are a manager
2. You can file EB1C earlier.
