Hi All,
I am US on L1 visa and have scheduled Visitor's visa interview for my mother - a homemaker with no income. My father is retired for last 2 years but he is not applying for Visa this time(i hope that is not a concern).
We have mentioned in the application that the Travel expenses are being paid by Mother i.e. self. Now my questions are:
1) What all can she show as a proof to be able to pay the expenses for travel. She has a property in her name, and few other investments like NSC and Fixed deposits. Are these documents valid to be shown as proof.
2) Is it better if i show myself as sponsor and is there a way i can go back and change this information in the DS-160?
Looking forward to response here.
Thanks
Jay
