Will 2 year rule be lifted if I renounce the home country citizenship

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Like the title says, I wonder if 2 year rule will be lifted with the renunciation of the home country citizenship. More about the circumstance, I went to the US on J1 visa, completed a degree, migrated to another country and has been working here since then.
