Child Sponsoring you when he's 21

Hi,

I know this is a long long long away for us (Wife & I), but we have two infant children, both US Citizens.. Once they hit 21, they can sponsor the wife & I for a green card.

My question is, theres a good chance us as a family will not be living here in the USA come 2026, will this still be ok for them to sponsor us? Even though we will all probably be living in England come that time? 20yrs is a long time to be on an E2 visa running a succesfull biz.

Is this an immediate green card, or is there a huge long waiting list for sponsoring your parents?

So in a nutshell, will we have to wait another 5yrs on top of the 20yrs it's going to take the kids to get to 21?

Yes, they can sponsor you anywhere you are and this category has no wait for visa numbers. The visa is granted within a year's processing time.
