From J-1 to B-1 and immediate relative
Hello all,
Hope this thread finds you well.
Exchange student entered the USA from late summer 2014 to late spring of 2015, on a J-1 visa (with 2 year home residency rule applied). Year of home residency rule has passed and another year remains. However, I would like to visit the US this summer on a tourist visa.
If i get married during my stay in the US. Can i petition for immediate relative status?
