Can visitor spouse be added to my employer benefits

Hello everyone!

My wife is on visitor visa (she's maintained status) and pregnant, while I am on EAD (going through family based immigration; through US citizen parent) and currently employed. I have health insurance through my employment and wondering if it's possible to add my spouse on to my benefits considering that she doesn't have an SSN yet.

Same applies to Tax returns; how do I add her to my tax returns since she doesn't have SSN. I am not sure how long before I will receive a green card and be able to sponsor her.
