Hi everyone,
I am asking for a friend.
She is an international student with F1 visa. She graduated from community college in Fall 2015 and decided to do OPT before I enroll in 4 years university. Unfortunately, She exceeded the 90 days of unemployment by almost a month. Her international student advisor told her to request for a new I20 from my university. Last week, the university's representatives wrote this,
"Our records indicate that you are a transfer F-1 student, but did not indicate you are currently holding an F-1 status in the U.S. If you are currently holding an F-1 status, please log back on to the I-20 request system to provide us your SEVIS ID number and the I-20 release date"
