SEVIS terminated! How to stay in the US?
Hello everybody,
My friends who is an international student was involved in a felony. several months ago. His lawyer promised that he will eliminate the charges in the upcoming court trial in August. However, we just heard that his SEVIS was terminated two weeks ago due to school suspension. I heard somewhere that the grace period you can stay after terminated SEVIS is 21 days, and some other places said 60 days. Anybody knows which one is accurate?
And now, what is more important is how can he stay in the US legally at least till his court day?
Is there any school that can give a very fast admission and a SEVIS?
Any idea is very much appreciated.
