My current employer A filed amendment when I moved from Location X to Location Y four months ago. Now I got an offer from employer B. it looks like I can go ahead with my H1b transfer but what happens to the amendment filed by my current employer when H1b transfeer gets denied? will they get to know that I attempted to transfer and if the amendment gets void will I be out of status? please clarify.

So long as your current visa is still valid you are fine. And no, the previous employer is not supposed to know that another company petitioned for you. that is a privacy issue.
Your current visa will remain valid irrespective of the subsequent denial .This is purely my opinion and does not constitute legal advice.
