  • H1B - Did I overstay?

    My Scenario

    1.Company A Laid off on Mar 3 2016 (I94 valid till July 2018)
    2.Company A Revoked H1B on Mar 15 2016
    3.From Company B received Receipt notice on Mar 18th
    4.Got RFE on Apr 1st
    5.Jun 12 officialy USCIS revoked company A petition (I94 was valid till July 2018)
    6.Jun 27 RFE was answered
    7.July 7 got the approval (I797B with out I94)
    8.I am travelling back to India for stamping on July 24

    Is there any overstay in my scenario?

    according to website information, it looks like i didnt overstay based on my understanding

    Can someone please help

    It looks like you overstayed 3 days from March 15 to March 18, but USCIS did not catch it. 3 days is not enough to claim you are inadmissible as you have to be here illegally for 6 months. You should be fine. Plus I believe you have a 10 days grace period to leave so those 3 days do not count.
