This form is really helpful to get answer on immigration question and clear lots of doubts.
I have a question on expiring OPT due to failed to get employment within first three months.
I got my OPT around 10-May-2016 and three months period will end on 10-Aug-2016. I tried my best to find an employer but failed.
Please suggest me what could be next option for me?
1. My spouse is on H1 visa. Shall I start my change of status to H4 as soon as possible? Do I have any grace period?
2. Is it safe to find a small consulting company to hold my OPT employment? If yes, that company provides training to students remotely and does not pay anything. Would it also impact me in case of any USCIS audit or while filing taxes for the financial year?
