My LPR fiance is in removal proceedings based on a "non violent" aggravated felony. I suffer from major depression disorder and believe we may qualify for a 601 waiver based on hardship to me, the US citizen. I've been doing a lot of research, gathering documentation, letter from my doctor stating I have major depression, copy of our Deed, letters from his past employers, bills, etc. I am unclear, however, if I am supposed to file an application for adjustment of status. We can't afford an attorney and unfortunately have been unable to find a pro bono attorny. Any advice??
