Is a Fiance visa required?

My son and his fiance live in China and work as teachers. He is a US citizen and she is a UK citizen. They plan on marrying next Aug. 2017 here in the United States. They will then leave the US and return to China for work. Does she need to have a fiance visa since they aren't planning of living in the US anytime soon?

I hope this message reaches you. I was reading the forum about your son and I am in a similar situation. I am a US citizen and my partner is a UK citizen. We are moving to Thailand soon to teach and want to get married soon. I was under the understanding that you cannot come into the states and get married on a Tourist visa because they ask you what your intentions are for you trip when you arrive a customs at the airport. I would love to know how to sons process is going! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
