Will F1 be cancelled if my L1b is rejected?

Hello,

I have an admit for MS in January, hence I will be applying for F1 by end of this month. Meanwhile my company is interested to apply for L1b as well. I'm very confused and have few questions

1) as L1 rejections are increasing day by day, will this rejection affect my F1 chances?
2) What if I apply for F1 first and then apply L1, will my F1 be cancelled if L1 is rejected?

Please suggest!
