Reentry Permit - I131 - Delayed ....still waiting

Dear Immi users,

Me along with my family applied for a re entry permit almost 4 months back. still no response.

here are the sequence of events
1. April 27, 2016 - sent to USCIS by USPS mail
2. May 2, 2016 - acknoledge ment received.
3. May 20, 2016 - Bio metrics given...

still waiting for the next set of response.

Please let me know if you have any information on this delay.

still the status shows as bio metrics received.

I filed my I 131 on Aug 18th but did not receive the receipt yet. Which processing center did you apply to?

Hi Ravindra: I am also facing the same issue.. Applied for I-131 on 6th May 2016 and got bio-metrics done on 28th May 2016. Still online it shows the same "Fee received for bio-metrics". I am also worried what is the next step.

Please let me know because I am worried I will not get mine in time before I leave the country.

I had applied for the re-entry permit in Aug 2016, biometrics were done in early Sept. And then I traveled to India.

I have not received any update on the application status. The web site says biometric fees received. I have submitted a status check, but that will take time as well.

I am planning to travel back to US in Feb 2017, which 5 months from my travel out date. Will there be a problem?

Assuming that since I am within 6 months, I will be asked questions, but there wont be any need to wait for the I-131 processing to complete before returning.

Could you update the status of your biometrics and RP? How long it took for biometrics from the application date?

Why has there been delays recently regarding biometrics?
