H1B-H4-H1B conversion
Hi ,
I have typical scenario here .
I have a valid H1B which will be expiring by Feb 2017. Have H4 as well.
Currently I am working with H1B with company X and my project is about to end by this August.
My H1 transfer process to other company Y will be initiated by september end and it takes 6-8 weeks to complete, so by November it may be transferred completely .
My question here is :
1. Can I convert to H4 and the H1 transfer process in parallel.
2.Can I go to India while the H1 transfer is in progress and can I travel on November with H4(port of entry) and then join as H1 ?
3.Can I go to India while the H1 transfer is in progress and can I travel on November with new H1 stamping ?
4. While I travel again to US in November (either by H1 or H4) will that be a problem since my visa expries on Feb.
Can you please suggest the best option ?
