Hello,
I started working for company X after finishing my masters (Engineering/industrial management) as a Software engineer and the employer has filed for my H1B within a month of joining but there was a request for Evidence asked on my H1B petition as my job is not related to my Masters degree and the project that I am working on and my employer is not clearing the RFE.
Is there a way I can transfer the H1B petition to another employer or is there a way i can join another Company on my OPT EAD.
I am supposed to be getting my first pay after 45 days of working, which is being delayed by my employer citing budget issues and other irrelevant reasons.
Please help me what I can and should do to come out of this. I want to work for another employer Y and quit my job with Company X without affecting my OPT status and I dont want to file a legal case as I am not in a position to fight court cases.
