Dear Sir,
I would appreciate if any one of you could update me with my issue. I am in J2 visa. My DS2019 is valid till 27th Sep 2016. I had applied for an EAD. The EAD was issued and it is valid till 27th Sep 2017. As per my knowledge the EAD should be valid till the DS 2019 status. Do you guys think that this is an typographical error from USCIS. If that is the case what should I do? Though it works for me if the validity is till 2017 but I just want to make sure that the EAD is good and issued as per the rules of USCIS.
Also I would like to update that the new DS2019 that has been issued is valid till Nov 2016 and this DS2019 was never used to apply for EAD. Pls answer my query.
