Question on L1B Extension denial

I have a valid L1B Visa and I94 for another 7 months. If I apply now for L1B Extension and get rejected soon after, do I need to leave the country immediately upon the extension rejection or can I stay until my original Visa expiry date?

The rejection notice will say what needs to be done. Generally you can stay and work till current I129S Expiry/I-94 expiry, which ever is earlier.
