We are a USA and Brit couple dating for a year and half. We met working on a cruise ship and since then have sold our homes in UK and US,left our jobs to travel globally. 6 months into the trip,we are now deciding what to do after our travels.
We intend to live in USA but not sure which visa route we should go, as we intend to travel for a while longer. As we both have no job or home, just a chunk of money each from our assets. Should we just start to apply for the fiance visa now?
Or get married anywhere and apply for the immigration K3/IR-1?
Don't want to be apart, but we also don't want to have to stay in the USA whilst waiting for paperwork.
Can we keep traveling whilst the paperwork are being processed...?
I am part of the visa waiver Programe so can I also travel in and out on that as I please?
All very confusing and can't seem to find an answer that is relevant to us.
