Hello,
Probably this topic would have been answered in other forums, but I'm unable to find any answer as my case is unique.
I had travelled to USA for the first time in Dec 2010 in L-1B visa and returned back on June 2012.
again travelled to USA in March 2013 in L-1B visa and applied H-1B visa in consular mode(under L to H category) in April 2014 Lottery process. My H-1B visa got approved and I returned back on July 2015 because of L-1B maxout.
Now if I apply for H-1B visa in non-cap(completed more than a year outside USA), then will the clock get reset to 0? Or I will get only remaining 1 year in H-1B visa?
Note: I never utilized the H-1B visa period after I got this visa approved in consular mode.
Apprciate your help in clarifying this.
