    Friends

I came here to US on a H1B visa thru Infosys, five years ago
Now my fifth year is nearing completion, and they haven't yet filed my GC

So I did a H1-transfer and moved to another consultant

Now this is my problem - Infosys is not providing me relieving letter or any experience certificate
I gave them a proper two-week notice, however, they are insisting on an agreement which I signed in India before leaving, which states that I have to give them a 2-month notice, where-in one month at onsite and one-month at off-shore

Can I file any case against them
I wish to consult a lawyer, and seek legal opinion on the same

Has anyone else faced this problem?

Can anyone suggest a good lawyer for these kind of issues
Pls. note - I consulted **** ** law firm, but they said they do not deal with these kind of cases

Kindly let me know of any good lawyer/legal expert regarding the same.

    Thanks & Regards

I doubt many a legal team would be willing to take on a big company. Your best bet may be to complain to the DOL. Would advise you let the HR know of your intent of doing so and give them a few weeks before going ahead and complaining to the DOL. But if you were supposed to give 2 Month notice, there may not be much that you can do as that is what the agreement was which you signed .

This is my opinion not legal advice.
