US Citizen marrying someone in Canada on a W-1 Worker Visa? Questions?
I have read many documents and faqs describing the K1 Fiancé visa process but none of them really match up with my circumstances.
I have a girlfriend who is in Canada on a W-1 work visa. If I were to marry her within the next year or two (before her W-1 Expires and she has to go home), Could anyone explain what the process of doing this? Would it be similar to a regular K1? Would at any time she need to go back home or would she just stay in Canada until the K1 is approved? Please let me know as these questions may become something I have to think about sooner then I think.
