Hello,
I am a full time employee in US. I will be appearing for my H1-B Visa interview in Vancouver in a couple of days and have question regarding it.
Completed MS in US: Aug 2010
Started volunteer employment under my Prof: Aug 2010
Started Full-time: Sep 2011
Between Aug 2010 and Sep 2011, i have traveled outside of US and for re-entry i got a letter from my Professor stating that i have been working for him since Aug 2010 and expected to join back. This letter was dated May 2011.
I was maintaining my F-1 status, promptly applied for EAD cards through out my stay in US.
Is it a problem, since i was not getting paid between Aug 2010 and Sep 2011?
Please provide your thoughts. Thank you.
