I did a thorough search and couldn't locate a similar case, so I am giving my case here. Looking for your advice and hope this will help someone in future as well.
1. I came to US on H1B for employer A in 2014 - stamping was valid until July 2016
2. I changed to employer B in 2015, employer B filed extension and visa got extended until July 2018
3. I did not leave the country and my stamping expired July 2016
4. Now I have an offer from employer C, If i accept employer C will file for H1 transfer
My Qn is:
1. Will employer C able to file for H1 transfer? considering my last stamping expired and it is from employer A
2. I am planning to go to India in March for stamping, can I do drop box considering last visa expired less than 12 months ago?
3. Employer B filed for my PERM and I think any of the above will not have a bearing on this and employer B can withdraw PERM once I leave and will not damage anything else?
