When can I apply for Green card when I am on J1 waiver

Hi,
I am new in this forum. I am a physician working under H1B visa (in under-served area as a part of 3 years waiver). I started this waiver job just 4 months ago. My wife is a US citizen and she will be filing petition for green card for me in future. Now my concern is that when can she apply for petition for green card for me. Do I need to complete 3 years of waiver job first or she can apply for me now.

She can petition for you as soon as she gets all of the proper documents/fees. How long have you been married?
